If you have ever been in front of my camera, then you already know that more than likely I will end up asking you to do something silly such as skipping while singing Mary Had a Little Lamb, or possibly just spinning in circles. While I love to pose people for all of the traditional portraits that you expect, I also love to add a little bit of movement and genuine laughter.
Last week I spent an afternoon shooting make-up sessions that were rained out from our Easter Mini Sessions with the lamb that my friend Traci and her husband Adam hosted for me as a fundraiser for our adoption. . I don’t know if you have ever tried to get a lamb to pose and smile pretty for a picture or not, but let me tell you… those cute little boogers can be a challenge. Add a toddler to that scenario, and you just never know what you are going to get.
Brooke and her precious babies were part of this make-up portrait day, and I could not be happier with the way their portraits turned out. We may not have been able to get her toddler to sit alone with the lamb, but we did get some of my favorite images I’ve ever taken of a mother and her child.
Thank you Brooke for taking part in our adoption fundraiser, and allowing me to take these gorgeous photos of you and your babies.
